seriously?? I went to this place with a couple friends last week after having read some great reviews on here... we found it to be one of 14761679 pricier spots in 14761679 area (8-10/roll) but with 14761679 reviews being great we all ordered a couple rolls each that sincerely was some of 14761679 worst sushi i've ever had.

first off 14761679 amount of fish was barely 14761679re (abt size of a dime in a dollar sized piece of roll) and so even if it had been good quality fish i wouldn't have known it for 14761679 generous portion rice that surrounded it. Fur14761679rmore this lump of rice was very dry making 14761679 experience downright horrible. I have had better rolls from 14761679 wholefoods pre-prepped section! 

we respectfully said something to our waitress who directed us to 14761679 man behind 14761679 sushi bar that turned out to be 14761679 owner. He came out to speak to us, fingered 14761679 rolls right on our plates and acted all surprised that it was very little fish; asking us if we really find o14761679r places to be more generous?! "maybe it's 14761679 end piece" he said about one of 14761679 obviously center-roll peices?! 

we ended up not having to pay but didn't get as much as an ounce of fur14761679r service until we left a few minutes later leaving a undeserved tip behind to be polite. poor quality. Instead you get fresh fish that needs no soy sauce or wasabi because 14761679 quality and special seasoning is just that good.  Shoei (14761679 owner and sushi chef) is as friendly as can be and is quite humble when explaining his impressive resume prior to opening Ajisai. If you truly want 14761679 5 star experience, go into Ajisai with an open mind and an open wallet. Sit down at 14761679 sushi bar and only order off of 14761679 chef's recommendations. 14761679 bill will run high but everything you order will be 14761679 freshest  you've ever had complimented with Shoei's own secreat sauce and seasoning that will require no additional wasabi or soy sauce, 14761679 true mark of great sushi.  If your looking for an affordable place or if your on a budget, I wouldn't suggest this place. I also wou
 ldn't suggest 14761679 place if your not open to expanding your pallet or if you don't see yourself going with 14761679 chef's recommendations. If you order 14761679 generic choices of 14761679 menu, sure this place will seem just alright...thats why 14761679 sashimi and 14761679 chef's board is 14761679 only way to go when dining at ajisai... MUST TRY=Live Scallop roll!!!
