Three Debian releases are currently available on the ftp site:

----- Debian 1.1, or buzz. Use the `stable' link to access this release.

Debian 1.1 was released Monday, June 17 1996. Installation
instructions that can be read using your web browser are in
<http:Debian-1.1/disks-i386/current/install.html>. A text version is
in Debian-1.1/disks-i386/current/install.txt

Instructions for upgrading from your debian-0.93 system are in the
upgrades directory.

Updates to Debian-1.1 are in Debian-1.1-updates. Debian-1.1-fixed
contains a copy of the Debian-1.1 tree with the updates applied.
Whenever updates are added, the minor number of Debian-1.1.<x> is changed.

----- Frozen, or rex. Use the `frozen' link to access this release.

The next stable version of Debian was frozen on Monday, Nov 4 1996.
Bugs are being fixed in prepatation for a future stable release.

----- Unstable, or bo. Use the `unstable' or `development' links to
      access this release.

The current development snapshot is named bo. Active development is
continuing here. Note that bo contains many symbolic links into rex.
