FAQ: Compaq a jeho Netflex sitova karta (Was: Re: Problem s kartou)

ano, spolecnost COMPAQ dodava ve svych strojich (Prosignia, Proliant
apod.) karty Netflex pripadne Netelligent, ktere nebyly do verze 2.0.33
podporovany. Alespon od 2.0.34 je jiz v jadre experimentalni podpora -
zapnete CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL a prectete si help - je tam napsano:

TI ThunderLAN support (EXPERIMENTAL)
CONFIG_TLAN
  If you have a TLAN based network card which is supported by this
  driver, say Y and read the Ethernet-HOWTO.  Devices currently
  supported are the Compaq Netelligent 10, Netelligent 10/100, and
  Internal NetFlex 3.  This driver is also available as a module.

V kernelech 2.1.x je tento driver take a funguje (alespon na mych
strojich):

TI ThunderLAN support (EXPERIMENTAL)
CONFIG_TLAN
  If you have a TLAN based network card which is supported by this
  driver, say Y and read the Ethernet-HOWTO, available via FTP (user:
  anonymous) in ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO. Devices
  currently supported are the Compaq Netelligent 10, Netelligent
  10/100, and Internal NetFlex 3.

  This driver is also available as a module ( = code which can be
  inserted in and removed from the running kernel whenever you want).
  The module will be called tlan.o. If you want to compile it as a
  module, say M here and read Documentation/modules.txt as well as
  Documentation/networking/net-modules.txt.
