V manualove strance (man lilo) se pravi:

    /sbin/lilo {-u|-U} - uninstall lilo

       -u device-name
              Uninstall lilo, by copying the  saved  boot  sector
              back. A time-stamp is checked.

       -U device-name
              Idem, but do not check the time-stamp.
