Accupoint mouse on Toshiba Laptop

I use RH 5.1 on Toshiba 4000CT and it works just fine 
( microsoft mouse compatible driver i guess ), but the reason could
be because of gpm. On my home computer mouse doesn't work (RH 5.2).
While on RH 5.1 it was ok.

( There are more problems on 5.2. Matrox Milenium II makes
  nasty Seg fault while using Xconfigurator etc.
  well it seems to me: 5.2 ? is that beta ? )
