Platforms
                 IPmeter has been tested on the FreeBSD and OpenBSD platforms.
Testing
                 under IRIX is currently taking place. The package is likely to
work on other
                 Unix platforms with a reliable packet capture capability, but
may require
                 specific kernel options or a small amount of porting. We do
not recommend
                 running IPmeter under Linux due to its unreliable packet
capture mechanism.
