Editovani casti soboru

Zdravím,

   > zna nekdo editor ktery umi otevrit a editovat jen cast souboru. Neco jako
   > hexa editor z Norton Utilities. Potrebuji oeditovat cast souboru
   > /dev/hda1, kde mi lezej Windowsy, ale 4GB soubor mi nic neotevre.

joe:

       filename,START,SIZE
              Use  this  to  access  a fixed section of a file or
              device.  START and SIZE may be entered  in  decimal
              (ex.:  123)  octal (ex.: 0777) or hexadecimal (ex.:
              0xFF).  For example, use joe /dev/fd0,508,2 to edit
              bytes  508  and  509  of  the first floppy drive in
              Linux.

Jinak samozřejmě sekvence

        dd argumenty; $EDITOR výstup; dd ytnemugra

musí fungovat i se špatným $EDITOR, který nezvládne otevřít tak velký
soubor...
