Hi David!

I'm writing this e-mail to you, because I was successful with a new PC
Card configuration, which is not mentioned in your SUPPORTED.CARDS list
yet. I do not know, if you (or somebody else) know about it, but I hope
it can help to others, although I didn't make any in-depth tests.
I have successfully installed the new Red Hat Linux 7.0 on my HP
Omnibook 2100 few days ago. During a system configuration the system
could not identify my "Xircom RealPort2 CardBus Ethernet 10/100 + Modem
56 PC Card" (R2BEM56G-100), only an empty CardBus interface was
recognized. So I have added this new card to the /etc/pcmcia/config file
(see below) without any kernel modification or other system
reconfiguration.

According to an output from the 'cardctl ident' comand I have added
these new lines inside the /etc/pcmcia/config:

---
card "Xircom R2BEM56G-100 RealPort2 CardBus Ethernet 10/100+Modem 56"
  version "Xircom", "*", "R2BEM56G"
  bind "tulip_cb" to 0, "serial_cb" to 1
---

After restart of cardmgr or system reboot, this card works properly
(both - a network card and also a modem).
