Hm. Tak mně to ale nefunguje (ani se syntaxi whois -h whois.ripe.net
root.cz):

Může to být tím, že mi chybí nějaká služba? Z vedlejšího počítače (HP-UX)
to funguje (s touhle syntaxi: whois -h whois.ripe.net root.cz). Na to snad
neni potřeba žádnej démon, ne? Tak kde může být problém? (Mám celkem
standardně nainstalovaný SuSE 7.0, whois je Version 4.4.13)
