CHS a LBA nesouhlasi => kolaps disku

pri spusteni partition magicku 7.0 ve winxp mi ihned po startu vypise toto okno:
"Partition MAgic Pro has detected an error 116 on the partition starting at sector 17928560 on disk1
the starting LBA value is 17928540 and the CHS value is 16450559. the LBA and CHS values must be equal.
 PM has verified that the LBA value is correct and can fix the CHS value.
would u like to fix it? ano/ne"

kdyz se to stalo poprve rek sem si co se muze stat a dal sem *ano*. celej disk se rozhodil
a pokud byl pripojen tak se ten ktery pocitac ani nedobootoval: linux zacal zbesile vypisovat 
checking partitions hda1....hdxy donekonecna a widle zkolabovaly aniz by neco vypsaly. sice sem to pak zpravil ale 
nebylo to prijemny. podle te adresy by se melo jednat o FAT32 partisnu.
cim je tato chyba zpusobena? muze to byt tim ze jsem disk partisnoval linuxovym fdiskem (vcetne te vfat)?
stalo se to uz podruhe na 2 ruznych sestavach (na obou byl instalacni postup stejny: novy disk rozpartisnovan fdiskem pri instalaci RH 7.{2,3}/8.0, instalace winxp, instalace RH 7.{2,3}/8.0.)
