hmm, opravdu si myslíte, že parametr -b vimu umí to, co umí Midnight
Commander po

mcedit -v /etc/passwd

a stisku kláves F4 a F2 nebo to, co umí Emacs po

emacs /etc/passwd -f hexl-mode

??? Myslím, že ne! Velmi rád se poučím, jak vim použít jako "hexa editor",
zatím to bohužel nevím.
