DAC 960e

Zdravim Vas.

Mame starodavny NetServer HP s architekturou EISA, integrovanym SCSI
radicem AIC 7770 a diskovym radicem DAC 960e EISA.
Pozastavili jsme provoz SCO zkusili nainstalovat RH 7.2.
Problem nastal, ze system neni schopen toto diskove pole najit.
Puvodne jsem myslel, ze instalor to nezvlada a docet se, ze to nekdo
rozchodil s prelozenym jadrem.
Prelozene jadro take nepomohlo.
Po vsech marnych pokusech najit na Internetu problemy s timto DAC jsem
napsal na support adresu od

As far as I know, the Linux driver is for PCI controllers only,
and requires a minimum firmware level of 2.73.  You can view the release

notes and source code on the driver author's web page at
http://www.dandelion.com/Linux.

There is no driver available for the ancient EISA cards, and I rather
doubt
that one is likely at this point.

Presto to nevzdavam, protoze mi  je lito tento server odstavit anebo na
neho nasadit Windows (tam to bezi bez problemu). A nechce se mi verit,
ze to nezprovoznim!
