xinetd je nastupca zastaraleho inetd :-) novsie linuxove distribucie
maju xinetd. Ovladanie bude asi:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd restart

alebo

/etc/init.d/xinetd restart

To plati aj pre inetd.
