No, nebudu to celé psát znovu neboť se mě na to už někdo ptal, tak najdu, co
jsem posílal a přiložím to (je to mix česko-anglický, ale snad to bude
srozumitelné(i když zalamování řádek asi moc dobré nebude)).

Pokud se vám nechce všechny ty soubory stahovat, tak zkuste mailnout na
pavel.prostredni [at] finish.cz - tomu jsem to posílal v únoru balík
všech věcí, co mám (cca 20MB), akorát sshdos už je určitě novější (0.92).
Kdyby to už neměl, tak mailněte, a já bych to někde pohledal - ale až
příští týden (klekl mi hard, takže to stejně budu muset všechno obnovit
z cd-ček a zipek, ale chvíli to potrvá).

No, tolik ne, ale:
(programu od všeho je víc, ale vzhledem ke své vykopávce jsem potřeboval
opravdu lehké verze, a pokud možno jako na *nixu - malé, jednoúčelové,
rychlé, a to co umí, umí pořádně)

mail client - Pegasus Mail pod Dos (www.pmail.com),
pop3+smtp - pmpop (bud v baliku u pegasusa, nefo na serveru ve stejnym
            adresari)
dialer - nd130.zip
packetdriver - dosppp (v. 06) nebo lsppp (ten jsem nezkoušel) pro dial-up
      nebo plip od crynwr (.com, .org - nevím) pro paral. kábl
terminátor - termin.com
telnet - nsca telnet, co nejnov. verzi
ftp - na servrech v balíčku poblíž nsca telnet
sshdos - sshdos.sourceforge.net (má i scp klienta, a na těch stránkách
          je i odkaz na pěkný ovladač myši)
lynx - chce 386ku, najít port pod DOS (možná by šel zkompilovat i links)
pak se určitě najde nějakej ten ping a pár dalších věciček, ale ty už mě tak
moc nezajímaly, pžípadně balíčky, které toho v sobě obsahovaly víc i
s nějakým rámečkovým GUI - tuším minuet nebo menuet, ale to už si vážně
nepamatuju.

Nějaké zdroje - z hlavy, na řádku klíčová slova

Hm, tak jen jeden - měl by najít stránku TVDOG, kde jsou tuny softu
pod dos+net

Jak se dostanu k těm svým věcem, tak to hodím někam na web a ozvu se.

tvdog - neobsahuje soubory (cca15MB), protoze url-ko funguje
neni pmail - da se urc. stahnout, je k nemu i cestina
doslfn - dl.jmena
0-fcni.disketa-snad - snad vsechny spravne soubory z me diskety na
pripojeni.	Upravovat pod DOSem (resp. pouzivat cr-lf konce radek!!!)
	Nahradit v bat souborech:
		svym uziv.jmenem: moje_user_name
		svym heslem: moje_heslo
	dul. je taky spustit pmpop -c
		a upravit jmeno,heslo,smtp, e-adresu, umisteni souboru,
		zda mazat, max.vel.souboru.
	a projet vsechny soubory (krome exe a com ;-)) a podivat na tel.cisla
	a dns (ted pro razdva.cz)

I still sometimes use an ancient laptop - CPU 8086, 640kB RAM, 
just 2x720kB floppy and external modem 14.4 (just enough for mail 
:-) and text editor  - and even small dbase editor) - under MS-DOS 
or DR-DOS - so it will work with your computer
You probably can't use this with w3.x but maybe it will help.
I include letter I sent some weeks ago to my friend - he wanted to 
use his 386 with 2MB RAM, 20MB hdd and some modem - he 
succeeded.

Notes on WATTCP Apps
--------------------

These are a collection of "example" applications that come with the 
Waterloo
TCP programmer's package, plus ftp.  You do not need to be 
connected to
configure them.

To configure these, edit file WATTCP.CFG.  If you already have a 
working
WATTCP.CFG file for another application, or a global 
WATTCP.CFG that you
use, you can just make WATTCP.CFG here a one-line deal:

   include=e:\internet\wattcp.cfg

Otherwise, edit the included file.  If you have static IP, set my_ip to 
your
static IP address, like so:

   my_ip=204.117.9.33

If you have dynamic IP, comment out that line and put this instead:

   include=e:\internet\ipaddr.cfg

You will have to arrange for IPADDR.CFG to be created at connect 
time and
put its pathname here; see README on my site.

Set netmask to this (do *not* use your real netmask):

   netmask=0.0.0.0

If you have a static gateway, put its IP address in like so:

   gateway=199.191.1.70

If your gateway is dynamic, either put in the gateway you *usually* 
get (as
I used to, I sometimes got 199.191.1.75 instead, but the above still
worked), or comment out the gateway line and use this:

   include=e:\internet\gateway.cfg

Again, you will have to make a batch file to create GATEWAY.CFG 
at connect
time and give the pathname of the created file; see README.

Set nameserver to your nameserver's IP address:

   nameserver=199.191.1.80

Set domainslist to the empty string (it only slows things down if 
you give
your actual domain):

   domainslist=""

Leave include (the one in the file, not the ones you added, of 
course),
bootp, bootpto, and ethip commented out.  If you have static IP, 
you can set
your hostname to the name of your PC if you like:

   hostname=jhayes.buckeyeweb.com

(For me.)  For dynamic IP, leave hostname commented out.

Set sockdelay to 60 (this helps if some sites are slow to connect):

   sockdelay=60

Set domainto to 20 (this helps with domain lookups, you can make 
it even
longer if you need to):

   domainto=20

mss is 512 by default.  That is a good value for it; leave it alone.

try dsk1 and dsk2 for an easy email session. "imposta" is the command
for setup and "menu" for the main program.
