pady modulu sm56 pro modem v RedHat 7.3

Čau,

  Neuspesne jsem resil u kamarada tohle:
  Na distribuci RedHat 7.3 jsem nainstaloval balicek motoroly
  (http://e-www.motorola.com/collateral/SM56_5.1_I386.rpm) urceny
  pro distribuci RedHat 7.1. Vsechno jde uspesne zkompilovalo a
  nainstalovalo, ale prikaz "modprobe sm56" oznami, ze modul nelze
  nacist. Pri pokusu donutit kernel nacist modul se modul zhrouti
  ("insmod sm56").
  
  Otazka je:
  1. Je vubec mozne pouzivat moduly urcene pro starsi kernel s
  novejsim( tusim ze RH7.1 ma neco kolem 2.4.9; TH7.3 ma 2.4.18, je to
  puvodni z ditribuce)?
  2. Funguje nekomu modul sm56 na jine distribuci ( nejlepe RH7.3)?
