meli jsme nasledujici problem:
chteli jsme pouzit v nasem non-GPL software knihovnu GNU-BARCODE.
Napsali jsme autorovi - Alessandro Rubinni - je to predni aktivista
GPL v Italii a speeker FSFE pro Italii - tedy by se v te problematice mel
vyznat. Chteli jsme vedet, za jakych podminek je mozne presto
jeho software pouzit - tenkrat jsme mysleli, ze je jedinny autor.
Jeho odpoved byla:

I've had a similar request a few weeks ago. I contacted all other
copyright holders (as I'm not the only copyright holder), and we
agreed to make a LGPL release ad-personam (one of the copyright
holders is a company that can't release proprietary software by their
own constitution).  We agreed on a fee of US$ 5000.  This will give
you unlimited permission to use the package under LGPL conditions. You
could even redistribute and resell the package, but the official
distribution will remain GPL.
