Fedora Core 1 Transferred to Fedora Legacy
With the release of Fedora Core 3 Test 2, the Fedora Steering Committee
would like to announce the transfer of Fedora Core 1 to the Fedora
Legacy Project.

This represents a one month extension from the original timetable - an
extension we hope will enable the Fedora Legacy Project to receive
considerably better quality access to the codebase.

For more information on the Fedora Legacy Project, or if you wish to
join the team please see http://fedoralegacy.org/.

The goal of The Fedora Legacy Project is to work with the Linux
community to provide security and critical bug fix errata packages for
select End of Life Red Hat Linux and Fedora Core distributions. This
will allow for a longer effective life for those releases.

The Fedora Project officially ended support for Fedora Core 1 (FC1) on
September 20th, 2004. Fedora Legacy has now picked up support for FC1.
Fedora Legacy has opened up the apt/yum trees for existing FC1 content
and started taking FC1 bug reports.

Osobne bych tam nejaky prevratny vyvoj neocekaval. Zmeny mezi release
jsou popsany v .spec souboru kazdeho balicku.
