Podivna Velikost RAID 5

Prijemny slunecny den,

Vytvoril jsem si RAID 5 z 6 disku po 250GB :
mdadm  --create /dev/md4 --chunk=32 --level=5 --raid-devices=5 \
 --spare-devices=1 /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdd1 /dev/hda1 /dev/hdb1 /dev/hde1 /dev/hdf1 

Predpokladal bych velikost 1250GB. Velikost je vsak pouze 1000GB. 
Proc? pripadne jak tam dokopat onech 1250GB? 
Jeste se bych se chtel zeptat zda na nazor jaky soborovy system vybrat? 
Zdali XFS nebo EXT3? Jedna se o webhostingovy server.

 RAID 5

3 or more hard drives are combined into one larger volume. The volume size is 
(# of drives - 1) * drive size. One drive volume of space is lost because the 
equivalent of that much storage space is used to store the backup information 
for the other drives.
