Job title:  PHP/MySQL Web Developer

Detailed list of duties:
Existing web-based system maintenance and functionality modification;
Undertake bug fixes from task list;
Co-ordinate with other developers.

Skills required to carry out duties:
MUST HAVE Technical skills:
5 years experience programming in PHP 4/5;
5 years experience working with HTML, CSS and in JavaScript environment;
Demonstrable experience of related technologies such as  XML, AJAX, O-O;
Demonstrable experience working on SQL database servers (preferably MySQL);
Demonstrable experience on Unix Operating System (preferably Redhat Linux), 
Apache Web server and MySQL 3/4/5;
Ability to read, assess and modify undocumented existing code; 
Experienced in high volume data environments;
Experienced in working from linux command line
Ability to use Control Version Systems (SVN)

Non-Technical attributes:
Confident problem-solver and trouble-shooter;
Self-motivated, patient and calm disposition in busy environments;
A track record of working well in a team;
Ability to deliver large and small projects within agreed timescales.
