(freeamp, gtksee, gqview, gnome, xfce, gimp, licq+gtk_gui ...). Only this xmms does this. No other software crashes my X server ... I've got very long uptimes BTW ... Other MP3 players and other sound relative software work perfectly for me ... crashes: xmms-1.0.1 almost never (maybe never, can't actually remember) xmms-1.2.0 rarely (just once I remember) xmms-1.2.1 and xmms-1.2.2 very often (I can reproduce it in 1-2 minutes after playing click'n'click games in xmms/preferences dialog) It's standard RH6.2 with standard glibc, gtk+-*, gnome, Window Maker, XFree86, egcs ... all original from distro (with all current updates). xmms was get as src.rpm from xmms.org and rebuild with rpm --rebuild ... I can't believe I'm the only one with this experience :/ ?
