Protoze v patchi je jmeno adresare linux-2.2.16.d a to vy zrejme nemate,
doporucuji udelat:

cd /usr/src/linux
gzip -dc ... | patch -p1

Parametr p1 urizne z patche prave to linux-2.2.16.d.
