[Fedora TeX Live] retiring xdvipdfmx package

Sure. I have already sent a message to a couple of maintainers of TeX
related packages present in Fedora regarding obsoletion. Most of the
maintainers were OK with the idea.

chktex
tex-musixtex

I haven't contacted owners of TeX font packages present in Fedora.
