nejede CD-RW NEC NR-7500

Tak jsem neuspěl ani se cdrecordem 1.10 :-(
Chyby, které to hlásí jsou:

Jinak z ní v pohodě namountuju a čtu. No a naštvala mě už na tolik, že
jsem ji vzal do školy a dal jsem ji do stroje, kde už funguje vypalovačka
TEAC (akorát jsem je vyměnil) a taky nefunguje. Konfigurace obou strojů je
úplně jiná (kromě toho, že jsou oba Debian GNU/Linux). Můj je skoro
potato. Je v něm spousta balíků z woody (neboť používám unoffical potato z
ftp.fsn.hu), ale IMHO nic, co by se týkalo vypalování (teda teď už je tam
cdrecord z woody, který taky neuspěl :-(). Jádro je 2.2.19. Školní počítač
je skoro čistokrevný woody (kromě pár drobností jako je avifile-player ze
sidu). Jádro je 2.4.2.

Chybová hláška na školním počítači je vesměs stejná až na to, že:

Napadá někoho něco, proč ta vypalovačka nefunguje? Jediné, co napadá mě
je, že je prostě vadná (hardwarově) a mám ji reklamovat.
