Pokud mate RedHat tak je dobre pouzit sndconfig.  
A neni problem.
Ten udela to, ze zjisti co by to mohl byt za modul a prida ho do
/etc/modules.conf

a nebo zavest modul.
man modprobe ci man insmod, man lsmod, man rmmod

The status of the modules and which modules depend on
which other modules may be checked by:
        /sbin/lsmod

/sbin/lsmod should show something like the following:
        sb                     26280   0
        uart401                 5640   0  [sb]
        sound                  57112   0  [sb uart401]
        soundcore               1968   8  [sb sound]
