Cdrecord pali, ale nevypali

Zdravim,
mam RH 8.0,  cdrecord-1.10-14 z distribuce.
Vypalovacka Yamaha CDRW2100E na samostatne ksande.
Mam problemy s palenim a nevim, cim by to mohlo byt.
Doslo totiz k mnoha zmenam.
1. Zmena z RH 7.3 na 8.0
2. Upgrade HW (pridano DVD, Pentium4, deska Asus)
3. Nova media Platinum

Kdyz dam prikaz k paleni, tak vse probehne OK, ale vysledne cd je viditelne 
bez vypalene stopy. Netusim v cem by mohl byt problem? 
spatna verze cdrecord?
nekompatibilni media?
chyba mezi zidli a klavesnici?

Navic, nekdy po vypaleni nemuze vubec cdrecord detekovat mechaniku a pise 
naproste blbosti:

Pred tim na RH 7.3 jsem palil bez problemu.
dale pripojiju vypis cdrecord, ktery sice hlasi, ze pali, ale na CD neni nic.
