cdrecord_RH9

mám následující problém s cdreerod na RH9, po aktualizaci jádra mi nejde
vypalovat pokud se pokusím např o smazání RW tak to skončí takto: 
 cdrecord dev=0,0,0 -blank all

S jádrem 2.4.20-9 to jde v pohodě ,ale s těmi vyššími tím myslím RPM
aktualizační balíčky pro RH9 to nejde...
