Very shortly after the bug was classified for security reasons, a patch 
was made available. Less than half an hour, in fact. (On examining the 
patch, I found out I'd been looking in the wrong place.)


This is good for the security group, but bad for mozilla.org as a whole.


Here we have a critical-severity bug, two weeks old at that point, and 
no one had bothered to find out whether it was isolated to one operating 
system or affected everybody.
