postfix with mysql.

Zdravim. Nastavoval jsem postfixe presne podle tohoto navodu 
(http://high5.net/howto/), akorad mam tedy postfixe, mysql-server, 
courier a sasl2 z baliku (debian sarge, kernel 2.6.8-2) a stalo se mi 
to, ze postfix jako proces sam o sobe bezi, ale maily neodesila a do 
syslogu pise toto:

Myslim si, ze se ostatni problemy na dalsich radcich odvijeji od toho 
prvniho, tedy ze se nemuze postfix pripojit k databazi. mysql.sock 
soubor jsem zkousel smazat a restartovat mysqld, ktery si jej opet 
vytvoril. to ale nepomohlo :(
nemohl by mi pls nekdo poradit?
