instalace grub na jinem stroji

Diky za tip, ale porad se nedari. Sice to opravdu nainstaluje,
urcite pouziva spravny disk, protoze modifikuje /grub/stage2,
ale disk stale nebootuje.
Projevi se to tak, ze se na obrazovce objevi prave a jenom
podtrzitko a masina ztuhne. Tj. nenapise to ani "GRUB".

Skript vypisuje tohle:

grub> device (hd0) /dev/hde
grub> root (hd0,0)
 Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
grub> setup (hd0)
 Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... no
 Checking if "/grub/stage1" exists... yes
 Checking if "/grub/stage2" exists... yes
 Checking if "/grub/e2fs_stage1_5" exists... yes
 Running "embed /grub/e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0)"... failed (this is not
fatal)
 Running "embed /grub/e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0,0)"... failed (this is not
fatal)
 Running "install /grub/stage1 (hd0) /grub/stage2 p /grub/grub.conf
"... succeeded
Done.
grub> quit

Jeste budu zkouset alternativy "install", protoze mi
z dokumentace neni uplne jasny vyznam "p"
a cesty k conf souboru. Fajn by bylo, kdyby
ten grub slo nejak "ladit".
