Dear Sir,

The workaround is to use a good KVM. Software cannot be guaranteed to 
work on faulty hardware. We can escalate this and lodge a bug report to 
see if we can make the kernel more robust based on this scenario. It 
won't be a huge priority as most of our resources are focused on making 
the kernel perform on known good hardware.
