Tenky vs. tlusty klient

Pokud se rozhodnete pro thin client, nezapomente na rozumne limity pro uzivatele. Nekdo tu psal, ze programator je tvor stouravy, ale i neopatrny a obcas sem tam neco prehledne. Neumyslna fork bomba je na serveru daleko horsi nezli na klientu. (On staci bug v uplne obycejne pouzivane aplikaci (treba emacs), ktery sezere veskerou pamet. a pokud neni ulimit....)

    A novice was trying to fix a broken lisp machine by turning the
power off and on.  Knight, seeing what the student was doing spoke sternly,
"You cannot fix a machine by just power-cycling it with no understanding
of what is going wrong."  Knight turned the machine off and on.  The
machine worked.
