Re:problém s přehráváním videa na X1650 Pro

Ahoj,
Mám pravděpodobně stejnou kartu (tuším Saphire X1650 Pro) a ve Slackware 12.2 pod WindowMakerem přehrává plynule v xine i v mplayeru. Ovšem s ovladačem fglrx -- jak s radeon tak s radeonhd jsem měl různé problémy (zatuhávání Xek, nefunkční akcelerace, černá obrazovka, problémy s dual head a tak dále a tak podobně,) tudíž jsem je vyřadil z chovu rovnou. Což by odpovídalo i tvým potížím v první části (radeon jakožto ojeb, radeonhd pro jistotu nepodporuje vůbec.)
Co se problikávání týče, neuvádíš, co používáš za desktop. Není to náhodou KDE 4? Se zapnutým kompozitním desktopem a těmato serepetkama? Kým hej, tak je to známý (nebo přinejmenším odsledovaný) problém, pomůže buď na přehrávání tyto efekty vypínat jako workaround (na což je mimochodem klávesová zkratka nebo přepínač na ploše...) změnit prostředí, případně mlátit po hlavě autory KDE nebo ovladačů, dle vlastního uvážení:)
